Is there wifi?

Yes, each all of our glamping units have free super-fast WIFI routers. 

Can I bring my pet to the glampsite?

Unfortunately we don’t allow any pets. Sorry!

Can I pitch my own tent?

Sorry we don’t allow any tents to be pitched at the glamping site. 

Can I check in early?

Guests are able to check in from 3pm. However you are more than welcome to leave your belongings in our oak frame barn before 3pm. 

Check-out is at 10am. If you would like an early check-in or late check-out please contact us at enquiries@guernseyglamping.com and we may be able to arrange this depending on the cleaning rota.

Can I drink the tap water supplied in the glamping units?

Absolutely – it is mains supplied by Guernsey Water and is of a high standard.

Do you have a car park?

Yes, we have a large, secure car park which you are welcome to leave your car in during your stay. Cars are parked at the owners risk and the company accepts no liability for damage or accidents caused. 

We ask that if you bring more than one car per glamping unit, and the car park gets very busy to please park behind each other to allow space for other guests.

Do you have an electric car charging point?

Yes we do. We have one charging point and it is situated in the middle of the carpark, along the wooden fence. 

Is there a shop on site?

Yes we have a small locally supplied grocery shop which stocks general provisions such as milk, bread, eggs and bacon, chocolate, biscuits etc. 

There are 2 shops near by; Morrisons Daily, Perelle and a larger store Morrisons Daily, St Peters. Both shops are a short drive or cycle away.  There is also a local supermarket called Forest Stores (just by the airport) which has a wonderful deli, local cheeses and meats.

What restaurants do you recommend?

What taxi services do you recommend in Guernsey?

There are lots of taxi options on the island. The largest fleet is Island Taxis, who you can contact on +44 (0)1481 700500 or at islandtaxis.gg. Harveys Taxis are also a great, reliable option on +44 (0)7781 406222.

You can also use the Guernsey Taxi App, which lets you book a taxi quickly from your phone, see nearby drivers, and get an estimated fare before booking. The app is available for download on Apple and Android.

Are there laundry facilities on site?

Yes there is a laundry room which are you welcome to use. This includes a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron.

Do the Safari Tents have heating?

Each Safari Tent has an electric heater which warms your tent up in no time. If you are staying during the colder months we can give you another heater (if there is one spare) to make it extra cosy.

Do the Shepherd Huts have heating?

Yes, the Shepherd Huts have a radiator installed and also a log burning stove. They are also fully insulated so you don’t have to worry about getting chilly!

Do all the glamping units have a shower and toilet?

Yes, all of our glamping units have their own toilet and shower. There is also a separate toilet and shower in the oak frame barn.

Do you take group bookings?

Yes we do, if all of the 8 glamping units are taken you will have exclusive access to the site and its facilities.

This includes the oak frame barn, where classes/gatherings could be held. You will also have exclusive use of the surrounding field, communal pizza oven/fire pit and children’s play area.

What power outlets are used in Guernsey?
Guernsey is the same as the UK and uses a 3 pin plug at 240 Volts (50 hertz). We do supply travel adaptor plugs at the glampsite shop/reception if you require them.
Can I hold my wedding at Camp de Rêves?

At present, we are not holding weddings at the site. 

Will the owners be on site?

The owners, Danny and Jane Barnes, are on site for most of the day and if not they are always contactable and live only a short distance away.

How do I get to Guernsey?

Are there food delivery services?

There are various places you can get your groceries delivered from. Please find out more on our blog post here: Food and Drink Deliveries

You can also get hampers of local produce delivered by The Guernsey Hamper Company.

Can I travel to the neighbouring islands?

Guernsey is the perfect base to explore the neighbouring Channel Islands from. Do you have travel cots & high chairs to hire?

Complimentary Baby Equipment

To help make travelling a little easier, we’re pleased to offer complimentary hire of travel cots and high chairs for our younger guests. Please let us know when booking if you’d like us to have these ready for your arrival.

Travel Cots

  • Joie Kubbie™ Travel Cot – Suitable from birth up to 15kg (approximately 3 years). Includes the newborn bassinet insert for younger babies and converts to a full-size travel cot as your child grows. Approximate assembled size: 99cm (L) × 59.5cm (W).
  • Graco Contour™ Travel Cot with Bassinet – Suitable from birth, with a raised bassinet for younger babies and a full-size travel cot for older infants and toddlers. If you’d like to check specific weight limits or dimensions before your stay, please refer to the manufacturer’s specifications.

High Chair

  • Joie Mimzy™ Snacker High Chair – Suitable from 6 months up to 15kg, with a secure 5-point harness and reclining seat for added comfort.
